The wedding ring was delivered just in time. We were loading up the car to head to the Justice of the Peace and the UPS truck drove by. Jerome ran him down to see if the ring was on the truck. Sure enough it was. The wedding will now be complete.

Bryan, Avery and Papa G joined the three of us at the Circus. It was the most amazing Circus ever!!! We will not miss another one. We were so amazed at the acts and the animals. I think Marty and I enjoyed the show more than the kids.

While there we ran into our dear friends Laila and Kalilah. It was such a good surprise to see them.

I took more pics but this is the only one that came out decent enough to post. If you think this is not amazing than try it yourself. By the way, the elephant is balancing on the pedestal. He held himself up for approximately 2 minutes.

Thank goodness I took these few shots because Lil'Man did not play much this game. He froze up and did not like the other team trying to take the ball away. An airplane flew over to land at the nearby airport and Kaegan was then done with the game. Maybe next Saturday will be better. The team did win though!

Well, Kaegan has really grown up over the last 4 weeks. He is so excited about being the Big Brother that we decided to start allowing him to do things on his own while also forcing him to do others. For example, I let him get his own cup out of the cabinets and get his own ice and pour his own drink. Yes, it is sometimes messy but he loves that he can do it. He helps make his lunch for school and has started cleaning the dishes and putting up the clean dishes in the dishwasher. Like I said, He loves it. Well, there are a few things that we have began to enforce around the Kent household as well. For the past 2 1/2 years I have layed next to Kaegan every night until he was completely asleep. If I snuck out he woke up and freaked. Shortly after I would sneak out he would of course sneak right into our room around 1:00 a.m.ish. This week, things have changed. He has been watching a cartoon in his room, I will check on him every two minutes and finally he will fall asleep. This is such a huge thing for him. We are sooooo proud! This morning I actually had to go into to his room to wake him up. He did not even sneak into our room last night. It was great.

Another new big thing is he can wipe himself and has not cried at school all week!!!!! I guess my Lil'Man is all grown up. Time for me to stop babying him and let him be the Big Brother he is going to be. I am so proud of my angel.

Heartbeat 138

We heard the heartbeat again!!! What an amazing moment. I finally stopped bleeding on Monday and on Tuesday I began to feel normal again. I told Marty that I was actually nervous about today's appointment because I felt so good and did not feel pregnant. I was relieved when I saw the heartbeating. We got new pictures too. The baby is growing and all looks good. If the pregnancy continues like this I will be extremely grateful.

Kaegan has been an angel this week. Making sure I drink only water, putting my feet under a pillow when I rest and telling me to sit down. He is going to be a great big brother.

We are so blessed. Kaegan was and will always be our first miracle. This little angel within me is Kaegan's little miracle. He has prayed for over a year and a half for his baby brother or sister. When he first began praying for them we questioned if he had a sibling in the orphanage or foster home he was in. Of course we will never know. When we ask him he says he doesn't remember. I know that Kaegan prayed for this child and that God has answered his prayer. I am honored that God has chosen me to carry this miracle and for the incredible faith lesson this has taught and will continue to teach our little 5 year old. Our God is amazing and our Kaegan knows it.

The day we learned of the pregnancy Kaegan road home in the truck with Marty. Kaegan was sitting in the back seat and told Marty, "Daddy, I prayed for my Brother and Sister and God gave me one. God is so AWESOME!!" Marty said he will never forget Kaegans facial expressions and true excitement for the baby. What a great moment for the two of them.

Heart Beat

Ok, so we had a bit of a scare yesterday. Ever since Thursday I have continued to spot which has concerned me and on Sunday I began to have heavy cramps. Well, yesterday I called the doctor concerned and waited around all day for her to call back. Finally, I called back around 3:00 and explained everything and made an appointment for today. After I hung up the phone I began to bleed alot and it scared me. Thankfully, I had just pulled into a friend of mine's(Kalilah) driveway so that Kaegan and her daughter(Laila) could play. I ran inside, went straight to restroom and frieked out. Her husband, Jason, was home so we left him with all of the kids and rushed to the doctor. When I got there the bleeding had decreased thankfully but there was still a lot of concern. Finally, they called my name and we rushed back to do an ultrasound. There was a heartbeat!!!!!!! Baby is fine!!! What a relief! It appears that I had a small blood clot on my cervix that burst which explains all the bleeding. The Doctor said that it should stop in the next 3 days or so.

Now, thru all of this Marty was out of town. I wish he was here to hear the heartbeat but it was a must needed thing to check so I had to hear it without him. He will hear the heart beat on the 8th of September. I can't wait for this moment. It wil be so amazing. I did get more pictures of the baby too. Yay!! I will scan them and post them tomorrow.

Kaegan is a Big Brother!!!

We found out yesterday afternoon that we are having a baby!!!! We are beyond words and still in shock. I had not started my cycle so I decided to take a pregnancy test at home. It came out negative so I called my Dr.'s nurse and asked her call in the medication to speed up my cycle so I will start and get this blotted feeling over with. She made me go it to be checked and thank God she did!!! I was pregnant!!!! 5 weeks and 4 days!! This is such a huge miracle!!

Marty had no idea that I even called the Dr. After I heard the news Kaegan and I rushed to Evangel where Marty was coaching football. Kaegan ran to the field holding the sonogram and this is how it went:

K: "Daddy, were are having a baby!
M: "Whose having a baby?"

K: "Mommy is having a baby!"

M: "Honey, Mommy's not having a baby."
K: "Yes she is!"

Marty looks at me and I said "We are having a baby! It is true!"

We are still in shock but loving every minute of it.

1st Day of Pre K 4 as an Evangel Eagle

Kaegan loves his new school!!! We are so excited for him to be apart of Evangel Christian Academy. Marty is now on staff of the football team as the kicking coach so it is very convenient for us to send Kaegan there. Monday, August 8 was Kaegan's first day. When he got home he mentioned that he did not want to stay all day on Tuesday because he missed Momma sooooo much. He really loves his Momma. On Tuesday I dropped him off and told the teacher I would be picking him up early and before I finished talking to her Kaegan had already asked me not to pick him up early because he wanted to stay. That afternoon I picked him up and asked what his favorite part of school was. His response, "NAP TIME." He said he wakes up feeling refreshed and ready to play the rest of the day. Hilarious!

August 3rd. His real Birthday!!

So we try to make Kaegans true Birthday date a fun day. We offered to go to Six Flags, the Tyler Zoo, the water park or Lego Land. He didn't not want to do any of these things. He just wanted to go to Kiddie Mia's down the road from the house. So, we loaded up and headed down the road. Spent $20.00 and several hours of fun. He loved it.

Kaegan is 5!! The Monster Truck Bash!

Kaegan has turned 5! We celebrated on July 31 but his actual birthday is on August 3rd. He wanted a Monster Truck party. It was soo much fun. We decorated our back yard with racing flags, served pizza on Frisbees and served chocolate covered donuts to the guests. I had not planned on a cake but Kaegan wanted to blow out his candles on a cake and not donuts so I quickly baked and came up with this quick cutie. Kaegan loved it and that was all that mattered to me. He did say, "Mom, don't forget to put 5 candles on the cake, NOT four like you did last time!" So cute. All I could do was laugh. Anyway, Kaegan had a blast. That evening he gave Marty and me a big hug and said, "That was the best birthday party ever!" It was a success!

We decided to drive up to South Carolina to visit some friends of ours who also own a DirectBuy. We enjoyed spending a few days with them. On our long journey home we decided to stop in Atlanta to visit the Aquarium. We also called Erin Falbaum (daughter to our friends) to join us. We had fun!

Christmas in Arkansas- Zoo

I already posted Christmas pics but I did not put the pics from the zoo. Marty's Mom Beverly had brain surgery due to an aneurism she had a few months back. The surgery was on December 22. We had our Christmas with them on the 21st and the next day she had the surgery. All was well after the surgery but Kaegan was not allowed to visit her. The hospital is next to the Little Rock Zoo and weather was perfect so we took Kaegan. These pics are from that day.

That evening Marty's Mom had a stroke. It was of course a scary time for all of us. The Lord was with us all and today she is recovering in a rehab facility near their home in Conway. It is a slow process but she is doing well.

We've Moved Again!

Yep! That's right. We moved again. Marty and I have sold our house and moved to Lake Bistineau. We found a house three years ago across the street from the Falbaum's but just kept an eye on it. I went to the court house a few months back to find out the owner and Marty contacted him. Marty asked if he would be willing to sell and he said yes. We talked about the move and if it would be best for Kaegan or not. We decided that if we did not sell the house and move to the lake then we would one day look back and wish we had. Plus, the lake house will be for Kaegan to share with his family.

We sold all we could and moved. Kaegan has loved this house. He likes being closer to us at night and loves that it is smaller. As a matter of fact we are all different out here. I am more relaxed because it is small enough to clean in an hour and Marty can get away from work and take a break. This was the best move we have ever made.

Alyssa Andres Wedding

Alyssa is there beautiful daughter that asked our precious child to be a part of her big day. It was an amazing wedding. Everything was perfect. Kaegan did his part just right too. Halloween 2010

Halloween was so much fun. Kaegan was SpiderMan. Kaegan loved the Halloween Carnival at FBC Minden. He got lots of candy and MiMi painted a spider on his face. Halloween night our friends and family all joined us at the house and we walked the neighborhood. Country Place was so crowded. We started around 5:00 so when 6:00 arrived we were finished. We all had a good time.

We decided to take our first family vacation. We drove to Prescott, Arizona to visit Amency, Chad and meet Rayla Bay. We stopped in Amarillo, TX to spend the night and Kaegan got to see the Oscar Meyer Weiner truck. We took quick pics that morning and hurried on the road because out next stop was Rayla Bay.

Wednesday, September 8 was Kaegan's first day of preschool. Our baby has grown so fast in a year and a half. We have enrolled him Tiny Town so he is very familiar with his room. His teacher is also a new friend of the family named Dawn. Her family lives in the neighborhood and she has two beautiful daughters that Kaegan adores. This is going to be a great year.

Kaegan has constantly asked for a baby brother. He has already named him Baby Kya. Today while at Walmart he asked to buy him a surprise. It is so sweet. However, my response is that we must be patient and ask God to find him for us. Well, tonight he let me know that he already asked God and that he can't wait anymore.

Ok, so as we were getting ready for bed tonight Kaegan said "Mommy, I have to go pumfa first." I said,"What?" He said loudly, "I have to go PUMFA first!" I said "What does that mean?" He said, "TEE!TEE!" I said "where did you hear that?" His comment was "Chinese, Mommy"
As if I was suppose to know that. I really have no idea if that is truely what it means but it totally caught me off guard.

"Family Day" AKA "Gotcha Day" Anniversary

March 3, 2010 was our one year anniversary with Kaegan. We decided to rename the day "Family Day". This is day that we became a family as one. To celebrate it was asked Kaegan what he wanted to do. Well, the zoo was the answer. We loaded up and headed to Tyler to the zoo. We had a great time together. The weather was beautiful and cool. After the zoo we stopped in Longview so Kaegan could jump at Pump It Up. He loves this place. He played for 2 hours. We all had a blast. Here are a few pics of the day.

Ok, so life as a Mommy is incredible. We stay so busy and love every waking minute of it. I just noticed that it has been a long time since our last post. There really hasn't been too much free time to stop and download pics or simply type. The free time that I have had I try to spend with Marty. Of course we are now the 3 Bears so everything we do is together. Time alone with Marty is now getting a little bit easier to find.

Everyone has been well and healthy. Kaegan starts preschool in September. WOW!!!!! I just got him and now it is time for school. He grew up too fast.

I created a book for Kaegan. I finished it this week. The book is 244 pages of our incredible year with Kaegan. I plan to continue to make one each year for him. It should be in the mail next week. I can't wait to see it.

As far now, Kaegan has adjusted very well to everything. He is now asking for a baby brother. Yesterday morning he told Marty about wanting a brother and Marty said that he had to ask Jesus. Kaegan stopped what he was doing and clasped his hands and bowed his head saying, "Dear Jesus, Please give me a baby brother, baby Kya. Jesus name, AMEN!" It was so cute. He has his name picked out and everything. Our prayer is that one day we can adopt again. According to Kaegan it will be a boy.

Anyway, just catching up a little. I hope someone still reads the blog. Let me know if you do.

Ok. Yes, this child has been thru it all. On his 6 month anniversary he had his front 4 teeth pulled. They were all ... lets just say they really needed to be pulled. Trust me, after a circumcision and heart surgery his teeth were on the list for next year but they became absessed and had to be pulled. My poor baby!!! My BIG HERO!!!! He is amazing when it comes to recovery. He was eating gold fish the same day they were pulled.

This photo is from the night before. We used the Frog to explain to Kaegan that Froggy did not have front teeth and that He(Kaegan) would be like Froggy tomorrow. He held on to this frog throughout the whole process. When we got in the car afterwards Kaegan pointed out to Marty and I that he was like Froggy and tried to show us his teeth. It was so cute and sweet.

Kaegan's Heart Surgery!

Kaegan had his heart surgery on August 19. He did very well. ACH is an incredible hospital with an amazing staff. Everyone was so courteous and thoughtful.

Kaegan has recovered quickly. He has more energy, it is as if they inserted the Energizer Bunny.

Actual Birthday in Gulf Shores!

We spent Kaegan's actual birthday(August 3) in Gulf Shores. It was incredible. We were there for our company meeting and planned to stay an extra day to celebrate with Kaegan. Kaegan loved the sand but wasn't too sure about the water. He would have preferred to Putt Putt the whole time. I attached several pics. Enjoy!

This was an incredible Birthday party for a 3 year old. Normally one would expect 1/2 to attend but not this time. Everyone attended and we had a blast. Kaegan is still talking about his party. Thank you to everyone. This was a day that Kaegan will remember forever.

Ok, I have a lot of catching up to do. Having Kaegan has been so much fun. He has blossomed so quickly into an adorable, highly intelligent, mischievous child. He is now speaking 3 word statements. Constantly telling us that he loves us and gives kisses away to anyone. It is incredible how much love this precious child has to give. Not to mention how ones heart melts as he smiles at them.

I am going to post pictures and try to give a brief statement about each. I hope this will catch you up on our latest events.

This is our first time to witness Kaegan eating watermelon. It was obvious that he had eaten it before. He ate more watermelon than Marty and I did together.

Marty also gave me a dozen roses the same day. I have never gotten roses twice in one year much less twice in one day. I was a proud Lady. They were both so beautiful. I played with the camera and got some good shots.

Kaegan loves to drink hot tea and coffee milk. In the one pic he and Aubrey are drinking coffee milk and are toasting to the moment. So cute!

Aubrey also fixed Kaegans hair. He had barrets and hair clips all in it.

What's been going on

Ok, here is an update of what has been going on with the Fam. Kaegan is doing exceptionally well. We had our first post-adoption visit last week and the social worker was amazed at his progress. When I told her that he had already stayed the night at Mom's and had a sleepover she mentioned that most kids do not even adjust to that until after the first year. Most things that Kaegan has done is a remarkable improvement for adopted children. She asked what we were doing to make him so comfortable with the transition and we told her lots of love, hugs and kisses. Mommy gets thousands of hugs and kisses a day. Afterall, I have to get them while I can.

When have scheduled for Kaegan his circumcision in June. We contemplated having him circumcised but the Dr. recommended we do it and do it soon. Scary!!! In August after he has recovered from the first surgery we will then have the surgery for his heart. Thankfully the heart issue is small. He does not have a hole in the heart nor a murmur. It is PDA. I honestly cannot explain it to you. You can google it. It is a day surgery and will require us to travel to Little Rock Children's. Once the surgery is complete Kaegan will not have any issues as gets older. Also, the bulge in his chest appears to have been caused by a break. Apparently at one point in the past two years of his life his ribs have been broken. As his mother I try not think about how. The Dr. says that as he gets older the chest will extend out and straighten up. Again not a be issue. So come late August everything will be taken care and all will be well with Kaegan.

On Friday I finally received the confirmation of adoption from the USCIS!!!! This is huge because now we can get a US birth certificate with our names as the parents, apply for a social security number and get a current passport for Kaegan. We really want to get a new birth certificate for him. Currently his states that he was abandoned on the 4th floor steps at the Datong Hospital and that his parents are unknown. His name is listed as unknown abandoned male. It is so sad to read the documents from China about him. As you can now see the birth certificate is a must.

New words that Kaegan has learned are of course the famous, "NO!", momma, daddy, Nai Nai, YaYa, Mimi, Pappy, Chick, Manana, bath, sit and many more small words. We have been working with him on the Alphabet and reading alot to him. He still hates to watch TV so all we do is play and read and eat. Eating is Kaegans favorite thing to do. He eats constantly. He loves bananas, fruit, sweet potatoes, watermelon, chicken, noodles, rice and cheerios. Ramen noodles are his favorite. He will pretty much eat anything we place in front him though. He has gained only one pound since arriving to America. He is now 26 pounds. He's waist is 17 inches and he is wearing newborn shorts. They are so tiny but they fit and do not have to be rolled up.

Sleeping is getting better. He wakes up one time around 3:00 and I then place him in our bed. He will wake up around 8:00 am. He naps around 2:00 and takes a 3 hour nap. Lately I have been taking the naps with him. If you were to see the house you could tell. His nap is the only time I have to clean. Anyway, I put up two tents in Kaegans room. I will post pictures of them. He loves to sleep in them. He had a sleepover and they all stayed in the tents. It was so much fun for him. Marty and I still feel that Kaegan needs to continue falling asleep in his own room so that he will get used to it. Once he wakes up in the middle of the night I do not mind if he sleeps with us. The night terrors are gone!!! When Kaegan wakes up two things are happening. One, he is still trying to figure out where he is and two, he is making sure we are still there. Hopefully, he will realize that he is here to stay and that Mommy and Daddy will never leave him.

Now, on to Mommy and Daddy. I am doing great! I love motherhood and have already told Marty that I am ready to adopt again. He on the other hand just wants to get well. Poor thing! He is still in and out of the Dr.'s office. We finally have a Dr. that is determined to find out what is wrong. He is taking the Lovenox injections twice a day and the Dr. seems to believe that he may have to continue them for the rest of his life. She took enough blood last week to confirm this so we should know soon exactly what the issue is. I will let you know when we find out.

Kaegan's Quilt

I just realized as I was looking thru my many pics of the past two months that I had not posted the incredible quilt that my Mom made with the fabrics given to us from you. The quilt is a Chinese adoption tradition. It is called a Good Luck Quilt. Meaning that our family and friends each give us a piece of fabric and write one wish or prayer to our child. It is the greatest idea ever. I have taken pictures of each fabric and have scrapbooked the fabric pictures with the prayer attached. It will be treasured by Keagan.

Each afternoon and night I wrap Kaegan in the quilt and we rock the night away. He will not lay his head down on my shoulder until I pick up the quilt and place it over his back. I love this moment.

Sleepover!

Kaegan spent the night at Ally and Aubrey's this week. Steph took some pictures of them in the bath tub and the shower. I am so proud of Kaegan. It was his idea to stay the night. As Steph was leaving the other night Kaegan jumped in her car and sat between the girls in the back seat. I went to grab him out and he said "Bye, Momma" while waving. Ally wanted him to spend the night and so did Steph. I gave in, packed his bag and had a wonderful FULL night sleep.

God Moments - "Complete"

Have you ever had a “God Moment?” You know, a moment where you just look up and say, “WOW!,” “You were right” or “So, that’s what You were trying to tell me.” A moment where God truly speaks to you through an action, a feeling or in some cases a moment filled with tears. For me it is a moment where He allows me to feel complete. I love and cherish each moment I have like this. I would like to share this one with you.

As I sit here rocking my precious boy in my arms I once again thank the Lord for this incredible gift of life. A gift I feel that is far more than what I deserve. Not only did I receive the gift of a son, allowing Marty and I to become a family, I also received the gift of completeness. Completeness… you ask? Well, as I think about this word and what it means to me at this very moment I reflect back to the previous experiences in my life where the Lord has allowed me to be complete.

On June 11, 1976 I was born into an incredible loving family. I am sure I drew my first breath with my Mom and Dad by my side. A moment filled with love, laughter and tears of joy. This is a moment in my life that I would consider myself complete.

At the age of 10, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I truly new the Lord and dedicated my life to him. A moment in my life where I became complete.

On May 30, 1998 I married my loving husband Marty. This day was incredible. I vowed to love and cherish this man for the rest of my life. Not only that but he vowed to do the same for me. All of this was done in the Name of Jesus Christ. This was another moment that the Lord allowed me to be complete.

On March 3, 2009 The Lord blessed Marty and I with Kaegan Michiah He Liang Kent. A blessing that is truly beyond words. As I sit here listening to his every breath, feeling the pitter patter of his little heart, tears begin to fall. Tears of love… tears of joy…tears of peacefulness. A moment where I once again feel solely and whole heartedly complete. Complete in His arms, while holding my child in my arms. This is a God Moment to remember.

This is a moment that I hope and pray one day each of you will experience. A day of knowing God’s love. Those of you who are Christ believers, you know that God is there, you know faith, you know love but do you truly know AGAPE’ love. God’s love! That is what completeness is. A feeling of love that is so overwhelming you have to shed tears to control your excitement. A feeling of comfort where you want to fall to your knees and Thank Him for this undeserving love. A moment just like this one where I stop and wipe my tears, lift my child from lap and place him in his bed. All tucked in I gently kiss his cheek and quietly whisper, “Mommy Loves You.”

Kaegan's First Bo Bo!

Yep! Kaegan received his first bo bo. Marty and I were sitting in chairs while resting after working in the yard. Kaegan sat in Marty's lap and decided quickly that he wanted down. When getting down his foot got caught in the arm but his head continued downward. Kaegan hit head first on the grass. He did cry for a short moment but then got right back up on the chair and continued to get up and down.

Louisiana Tech 4 Year Letterman Crawfish Boil

We attended the LA Tech Letterman Crawfish Boil last night. It was a wonderful event that of course had all you can eat crawfish. We had not eaten crawfish this year so I was excited to go. This was also Kaegan's first time to see and eat crawfish. He liked playing with the crawfish and only ate the corn. I took a few pictures.

Mom has been wanting to keep Kaegan for the night so I could get some rest. After all we have been thru and Marty back in the hospital I decided that I would send Kaegan with her. I have not had one full night sleep since returning home. Checking on Kaegan and concerned for Marty how could I sleep? Mom was so excited when I told her he could stay the night. I told Kaegan about going to Mimi's and grabbed his suitcase that Tyler had given to him. He was so cute packing his clothes. I added a few toys and his toothbrush, zipped up the suitcase and Kaegan found the handle and began to pull it towards the car. I had to run to stop him so I could get my I Love You and Kisses. I managed to snap a few pics too.

Hospital again?!?!?

5th time a charm!!! Yes, that is right. We have now have 5 emergency room trips including the one in Dallas for Kaegan. Marty was admitted again at 2:00 am last night. We finally know the diagnosis. He has bilateral pulmonary embolisms (AKA: blood clots) in his lungs. The Dr. said that last weeks pancreatitis and the clots are all related. Marty is doing great now and has no pain. Please keep us in your prayers.

Kaegan has been thru so much lately. Last night I finally agreed with mom that he needed to stay with her so I could get some sleep. Kaegan was so excited about going to MiMi's and helped pack his bags. We he drove off I was so excited he did so well and did not pitch a fit. I then went inside and saw the toys everywhere and thought to myself, WOW, that went a little too well. Anyway, It is safe to say that he has done very well with his transitioning and attachment stages. We are so blessed to have him as our son! I took pictures of him with his suitcase that I will post later. I do not have my camera with me here and the hospital.

Another Hospital Trip

Here we are on day 4 with Marty being in the hospital. It appears that all of the medication over the past four weeks has inflamed his pancreas. He is pancreatitis. Is this crazy or what?!?!? Please pray that Marty gets well, that things slow down so we can get Kaegan on some kind of routine and that we find some kind of normalcy for our new family.

Kaegan has done well thru all of this. He has slept in his room for the past 2 weeks. He has waked periodically but that is only because so much has been going on. Mom has helped out tremendously!! Kaegan has done very well with her. Last night she stayed with me so I could get some rest. God did not want me to get rest until after 12:00 thanks to the huge storm that blew thru. We had to wake Kaegan and get in the hall bathroom for about 30 minutes. Marty and Eric got into the hospital bathroom for their safety. Thankfully no one was harmed or anything damaged.

Today we are hoping to here that Marty will be released but it depends on his pancreas. I will keep you updated.

Welcome to America Party

Our family hosted a Welcome to America party for Kaegan. It was incredible. There were so many friends and family that came to meet Kaegan. I was a bit concerned with how Kaegan would react to all the attention but he did very good. He played with all the kids and loved jumping in the large blow up castle that was there. Toward the end of the party he began to get a little cranky but that was expected after such a long day.

Thank you to all our family and friends that participated!!!! We love each one of you so much. I was thrilled to see everyone. Especially those of you who I see on a rare occasion. Please know that your prayers and love have been felt throughout this entire process. I cannot thank you enough for all your support. We love you from the bottom of our hearts.

Christmas in March

Yes, that is right. We celebrated Christmas in March. Mimi and Pappy, YaYa and Nia Nia and Mommy and Daddy all kept their Christmas trees up until Kaegan arrived. We had planned on having Kaegan before Christmas so we each purchased gifts for him. He had so many gifts to open. Marty showed him how to open the first gift and Kaegan took over shortly after. It is quite funny how Kaegan opens his gifts. He is a very clean individual so as he would rip the wrapping paper he would turn to me and hand me the trash to put in the trash bag. He would not open a gift without placing all the trash were it belonged first. It was the cleanest Christmas ever. I wonder if it will be same next year.

First Hair Cut

Kaegan had his first haircut. Sam Stroupe gave Marty his first hair cut and now Kaegan. Kaegan did a wonderful job. He was a bit scared at first but you will see that he soon became comfortable and began to enjoy himself. The picture with his shirt off was taken when Sam was brushing the hair off of Kaegans back. Kaegan didn't quite understand that part.
